Eligibility Criteria

  • Vehicle Mechanic: 18 – 27 years
  • MSW (Painter / DES): 18 – 25 years
  • Relaxation as per government rules for reserved categories.

Pay Scale & Job Profile

Salary ranges from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 63,200 per month as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix. Selected candidates will work under BRO projects on road construction, maintenance, and civil infrastructure in border regions. Duties include vehicle maintenance, painting, mechanical repairs, and technical operations in strategic areas. This role also enhances career growth for government and defense-related services.

Selection Process

1. Written Test: Covers General Awareness, Mathematics, English, and Trade-related subjects.
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running, push-ups, long jump, and other physical standards.
3. Practical / Trade Test: Assessing technical skills as per post requirements.
4. Experience & Age Weightage: Extra marks for relevant experience and age criteria.
5. Medical Examination: Conducted to ensure fitness for field assignments.
